Kathrin SieberthVarsity Tennis Coach

Kathrin Sieberth begins her sixth year as the varsity tennis coach at Runnels.       

Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Coach Sieberth attended high school in Pacific Palisades, California, and went to college at UCLA. In college, Coach Sieberth was the #1 Singles Player and a two-time All-American. She won the team championship her freshman year and turned pro after her sophomore year.

Coach Sieberth competed for seven years on the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) Pro Circuit, reaching a career high world ranking of #55. As a tennis pro, she also completed the grand slam, playing at Wimbledon, the French Open, U.S. Open and Australian Open. In 1994, Coach Sieberth took a teaching position as a tennis pro at the Bocage Racquet Club in Baton Rouge.
