Runnels School unites its students by teaching religious tolerance, providing a basis for understanding and respect of all religious beliefs.
Buddhists, Hindus, Moslems, Catholics, Protestants, Jews and those of other faiths all attend Runnels,
and all children are shown how they fit in.

With a strong belief in the individual, and in giving young people the tools necessary to grow into solid citizenship, Runnels School provides a first-rate atmosphere for total education - - mind - body - and spirit.

One small reflection of that trust is the absence of locks on student lockers. While the students are free to bring locks, they are usually forgotten when the students become accustomed to the Runnels Spirit of Cooperation and Community.
