The 500-seat, Runnels Theater for the Performing Arts, was completed in 2001.

The 7000-square-foot Performing Arts Classroom Building provides rehearsal and instructional space for the six Runnels bands, string orchestra, chorus classes, keyboarding classes, ballet classes, and modern dance classes.






The Runnels Jr./ Sr High School typically presents
two plays each year.

Jr. High and High School Student productions of theatrical favorites have included Shooting Stars, Steel Magnolias, Diary of Anne Frank, The Belle of Amherst, and Room Service.
