Online Learning, Grades 7-12 Quick Update - March 15

 March 15, 2020

Students and Parents,

Here is a quick update to keep everyone in the loop.  Tomorrow, we are holding a meeting for all teachers in 7th - 12th to plan lessons and also demonstrate the various resources available to teach lessons during this period of online learning. This week, we will be granting teachers much needed time to prepare new lessons and orient themselves with the best use of this technology based on the types and styles of lessons they will be teaching. Not all teachers will be utilizing the technology in the same way, but they will all be providing daily meaningful learning and lessons through various formats. More information on what that will look like and how that will be implemented will be sent in the coming days. It's possible that we may ask some students to do a test run of some technology on Thursday or Friday of this week, but as of now, formal lessons will be postponed until Monday, March 23rd, while our faculty prepare.  Please keep in close touch with your email so that we can continue to communicate effectively.

Of course, we all wish these circumstances were different.  We thank you for your understanding and hope that you all will remain healthy and safe.
